The service is free

The widget, the scans, and the remediation plans cost nothing. There is no paid tier, no trial that expires, and no card on file. A fair-use limit applies to scanning in order to keep server costs sustainable; it resets automatically and is not a sales mechanism.

Your responsibilities

You may add and scan only websites you own or are authorised to test. You are responsible for the content you place in the widget's configuration, including any brand label and link you set.

No guarantee of conformance

This is the limit you should read most carefully. The widget gives visitors helpful controls, and the scans detect issues that automated testing can detect. Neither makes a website conformant with WCAG, the European Accessibility Act, or any other standard or law.

Automated testing finds only a portion of accessibility barriers. Real conformance depends on your own markup, semantics, keyboard support, and content, and requires manual testing — ideally with people who use assistive technology. Nothing here is legal advice, and installing this product is not a defence against a compliance claim.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as is, without warranties, and may change or be discontinued. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from its use, including any claim relating to the accessibility or compliance of your website.

Open source

The widget's core is open source and remains available under its own licence, independently of this hosted service.
