Common questions
Does an accessibility widget make my website WCAG compliant?
No single tool makes a site fully compliant. A widget gives visitors real controls — larger text, higher contrast, a reading guide, a dyslexia-friendly font — and an automated scan finds structural problems such as missing alt text, unlabelled form fields and broken heading order. Fixing those findings in your own markup is what moves you toward compliance.
What does the European Accessibility Act require of my website?
The European Accessibility Act has applied since June 2025 and requires a broad range of products and digital services sold in the EU to be accessible, using WCAG 2.1 level AA as the practical benchmark. Which organisations fall in scope depends on sector, size and how each member state transposed the directive.
Is the accessibility widget really free?
Yes. The widget is free for every site, with no card, trial or tier. Automated scanning is free too, with a monthly fair-use limit that exists only to bound server cost and resets on its own.
Will the widget slow down my website?
The install is one asynchronous script tag, so it never blocks your page from rendering. The widget loads after your content and adds no blocking requests, no fonts of its own and no tracking.
Does the widget track visitors or set cookies?
No. It stores a visitor's chosen preferences in their own browser so settings survive a page change, and it sends anonymous per-site counters — how often the widget loaded, opened, or a tool was used. There are no cookies, no identifiers and no personal data.
